Welcome to Hollands Swim School. We are a privately owned learn-to-swim school that has been operating in the Cannon Hill area for 48 years. Roy Holland was one of the first swimming teachers in Brisbane that started swimming teaching as a serious business, and continued to teach thousands of children the art of learning to swim. In 1993, Roy retired and handed over the reins to his daughter Cathy and her husband Steve.
At Hollands, we have spent many years developing strategies, teacher training and teaching methods to offer you the very best of aquatic survival programs.

Our indoor facilities, along with friendly, supportive teachers and an outstanding teacher training system combine to create a winning combination.

Children coming into our program are graded and taught with others of similar age and ability, only progressing into the next level when the required skills are acquired. Our starting age is 6 months for our learn to swim students and we have the facility to take your child right through to the competitive level of squad training.
At Hollands, we offer the first lesson as a free trial. This way we can assess your child and you are under no obligation. Once assessed, you are then free to choose whether you wish to book your child into a permanent class. There is no registration fees and we also cater for a pay as you go system.
